“We Love Trees“
“We’re Fascinated by Trees. Every Tree is Unique and Individual. We Love them All”
Our Tree Collection is a Positive Vision for the Future.
We are a Husband and Wife Team who were Inspired by a visit to Scone Palace Pinetum (pictured below) whilst on our Honeymoon in Beautiful Scotland in 2010. Whilst in the Pinetum we felt a sense of Pure Peace and Joy radiating from the Beautiful and Majestic Trees surrounding us. This left a Lasting impression on us which Inspired us to start our own Tree Collection with a Vision to Create a Unique and Very Special Peaceful Pinetum where Every Tree has it’s own story.

Our Tree collection started in 2011 when we were looking for Something Special to mark our 1st Wedding Anniversary. We Really Liked the idea of Planting a Tree and as we Love Scotland we decided to plant one of Scotland’s Native Tree’s, the Scots Pine. We had arranged to plant this in the grounds of a Nature area near to where we got Married but the gardener didn’t get back to us with the final arrangements so we decided to keep the Tree in a pot in our back garden so that we could Enjoy watching it Grow. This was the beginning of our collection and we are Very Grateful that the gardener didn’t get back to us as we might not have started the collection. As well as the Scots Pine Tree we also bought 3 Apple Tree’s, a Peach Tree, a Peace Rose and we donated a Tree to a Church in America, all for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. These are also part of our Tree collection. (The Apple’s taste Delicious).
The Scots Pine is the Tree that’s in the middle of the picture below. It was about 2 foot tall when we bought it and its now about 16 foot tall (2021) and is looking Very Beautiful.

We have been collecting Tree Saplings and Seeds from places that we visit (mainly whilst on holiday in the Beautiful Highlands of Scotland). When we visit Castle’s and Gardens etc we ask the gardeners if we can dig up a small Tree sapling to add to our collection (we Always ask permission and never just dig them up). The majority of the gardeners have been happy for us to do so and have been quite interested in our project. Some of them have given us very useful advice for growing our Tree’s which we are Very Grateful for.

As you can see from the picture the Trees are now getting Very Squashed Up as we have Limited Space in the back garden.
We are currently raising Funds to purchase the Country House & Grounds in Glen Lonan, West Highlands of Scotland where we can Plant our Tree Collection so that they can Grow to their Full Potential.
If you would like to Help please click on the Donate button. We Truly Appreciate Any amount of Donations you are able to offer. Thank You.
We are Growing the Tree’s with a Future Plan to Plant a Pinetum in Scotland where Every Tree has it’s own Unique Story of where it was from and how and when we collected it. We take pictures of the Tree Saplings before we dig them up and keep records of where they are from.
We like to give Names to our Tree’s and we try to make them relevant to where they came from eg. we have named 2 Tree’s after ‘Queen Victoria’ and ‘Prince Albert’ as they came from Balmoral Castle. The Scots Pine Tree that started our collection is called ‘Sir Stewart’ after F1 racing driver Sir Jackie Stewart.
“Our Tree Collection started with 1 Single Tree. We now have around 100”.
They range in size from a couple of inches tall to the biggest Tree which is about 13 foot tall (March 2022). The Collection includes Pines, Larches, Firs, Spruces, Giant Redwoods, some Deciduous Trees and Fruit Trees.
“We Strongly Believe in Natural and Organic Growing methods.
We Never Use Any ‘Nasties’ with our Trees”.
“The Natural Way is The Best Way”
Our Vision is to Plant and Grow a Pinetum that is Very Peaceful where visitors can leisurely stroll around and Enjoy Natures Wonderful Peace and Beauty.

Scone Palace Pinetum
Our Inspiration and Passion started here in the Truly Beautiful and Awe Inspiring Pinetum at Scone Palace (Scotland).
We Hope we can Create a Pinetum that is just as Beautiful and Peaceful, where people can Experience for themselves the Wonderful Sense of Peace that we Felt as we walked around these Beautiful Trees.
